Ukrainian energy station will supply gas treatment for Russian Severstal

On 20, 2012, Severstal finally determined the equipment supplier for the implementation of the largest environmental project at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant. It became the Ukrainian engineering center of the State Scientific and Technical Center for the Metallurgical Industry "Energostal" from the city of Kharkov.

“The implementation of the ecological project, with a total value of about 850 million rubles, will significantly reduce emissions of inorganic dust with the content of silicon dioxide, and, accordingly, the environmental load,” said Andrei Lutsenko, the production director of the Severstal Russian steel division.

The company "Severstal" and the State Enterprise "Ukrntz" Energostal "signed a contract for the supply of equipment for the reconstruction of gas treatment facilities of shaft furnaces No. 1 of the Elektrostal -Plaw Workshop of the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (CMC). Reconstruction works include the development of basic engineering, preparation CRM systems and design documentation, manufacturing, supply and commissioning of gas treatment equipment.

The final indicators of the cleaning of the withdrawal gases on the chimney will be located below 10 mg/m3, the dustiness of the workplaces of the technical staff of the furnace No. 1 will be no more than 4 mg/m3 above the level of background dustiness.
