Dneprospetsstal pays special attention to environmental and social policy

In October of this year, the Dneproospetsstal electrometallurgical plant celebrated the eighties anniversary of its glorious path. For this period of time, the plant introduced advanced installations into production and established the production of new brands of steel. DniproSpetsstal produced 29 million tons of rental and 55 million tons of steel.

Today, DniproSpetsstal is far from its best condition. In the nine months of 2012, production fell by 20.6%, and rental - by 18.8%, compared with the corresponding period last year. But, nevertheless, the plant actively introduces environmental and social programs.

Every year, about 2000 employees are treated for preferential tickets provided by the plant in sanatoriums-profilets on the coast of the Sea of ​​Azov and on the island of Khortitsa. Here you can go through a qualified treatment of psoriasis and dermatological diseases, respiratory system and the gastrointestinal tract.

The company launched a new dust-free structure of the SPC-3 in the steel-foltering workshop. Its performance is 1.2 million cubic meters. m/h. The second stage of this treatment building will be introduced until the end of 2012. Next year, the Dneprospetsstal plant plans to continue environmental protection measures and will begin work on the introduction of the dust-free construction of the SKS-2.
