Southern Mining and Processing Plant increases the costs of new buildings one and a half times

For the construction of new buildings and structures this year, Yugok (South Mining and Processing Plant, Krivoy Rog, Dnipropetrovsk Region) will spend more than 400 million UAH, and about 600 million UAH will be allocated for repairs of existing workshops and equipment, the company's board chairman Mikhail Korolenko reports.

The total amount of investments aimed at the technical re -equipment of Yugok will amount to more than one billion UAH in 2012, which is 45% more than the amount of last year's costs.

The priority project subject to priority financing is called the construction of a cyclic and current technology in the career of the deposit, at a depth of 210 meters. This year, more than 40 million UAH will be allocated for the implementation of this project. “The implementation of the project for the construction of a cyclic and current technology will change the existing scheme for transporting ore and reduce the cost of its production,” said Mikhail Korolenko.

The main items of expenses for the estimates for the technical re -equipment of Yugok amounted to funds transferred to the overhaul of the main equipment of the agglomeration factory and the enrichment factory of the plant.

In December 2012, if the end of the world does not come, the workers of the southern mining and processing plant will put into operation the section No. 1 of the enrichment factory No. 2. In the process of its reconstruction, 95% of equipment was replaced, which cost about 120 million UAH.
