The average daily production of metal rolling in Ukraine has decreased by 15%

During the first ten days of December, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine reduced the average daily production of metal products by 14.9% in relation to November 2012 to 68 thousand 700 tons per day.

According to the received agency UNIAN in the Metallurgprom association, the average daily smelting of steel is reduced by 7.4% to 83 thousand tons, a cast iron by 5.1% to 76 thousand 900 tons per day.

As of December 1, 2012, 27 out of 36 domain furnaces (75%), 19 out of 21 converters (90%), 8 out of 16 Martenovsky furnaces (50%) and 5 of 15 electric furnaces (33%) were at the work.

In November, metallurgists increased in comparison with October 2012. The production of total rental by 5.1% to 2.422 million tons, steel - by 5.5% - up to 2.687 million tons, cast iron - by 2.3% to 2.431 million tons.

In January -November 2012, the production of total rental in Ukraine decreased in comparison with January -November 2011. It was 8% to 26.669 million tons, steel - by 7% - up to 29.828 million tons, cast iron - by 1% to 26.171 million tons.
