Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih (former Krivorozhstal Kryvyorozhstal Commission) announced a new wave of dismissal. The management of a metallurgical enterprise plans to reduce 446 employees, which is less than one percent of the total number of personnel.
The Joint Union of Metallurgical and Mining Industry Workers of the Ukrainian Labor Party (MMIWU), which is the Industrial branch, held a protest in Krivoy Rog and a press conference in Kyiv.
On December 4, 2012, outraged by new abbreviations, by the non -fulfillment of the obligations and an increase in the labor load, the workers of the curvature of Kryvyuzkhstal went to the protest. According to Industrial, at least 3,000 people took part in the action.
On December 12, 2012, representatives of MMIWU held a press conference in Kyiv at which they stated that from the moment of sale of the Krivorozhstal factory, Arcelormittal, the number of employees has decreased from 50 thousand to today's 38 thousand people, and the trend remains.
Members of the trade union emphasized that with an average wage on Arcelormittal, a crooked horn of $ 650, really workers receive no more than $ 500, and some are forced to live $ 200-220 a month.

MMIWU President Vladimir Kazachenko said that if the current state of affairs does not change, then the workers of Krivorozhstal will begin a strike.
