Shanghai Daily reports that at 9:10 a.m. on December 18, 2012 there was a drop and tipping over the installation of a bucket-pove at a steel plant of Baosteel in Shanghai. Two people died at once and thirteen workers were hospitalized with injuries of various severity. Five of them are in critical condition.
The bucket-poverty capsized during the slag dozing process, breaking off the traverse, representatives of the company say. The molten steel spilled throughout the workshop. Shanghai authorities created a special labor protection commission, which today has begun the investigation of the incident.
Recall that on December 10, 2012, a similar accident occurred at the Ilyich MMK, when two people died as a result of a break in the Mnls traverse.
