Interpipe supplies pipes to the Middle East

The Ukrainian company Interpipe completed the first deliveries of pipes for one of the largest oil companies in the Middle East Qatar Petroleum,

Qatar Petroleum plans to use INTERPIPE pipe products in the fields of the Dukhan Field oil and gas basin.

Qatar's National Petroleum Company specifies that line pipes delivered to an AI address must meet stringent sour service conditions in order to operate in a high hydrogen sulfide environment.

The prequalification of Interpipe products for Qatar Petroleum took more than three years and was obtained through joint work in Qatar and Ukraine. The final stage was a detailed audit of the Company's factories for compliance with all specifications and technical requirements of the client. It was conducted by Bureau Veritas, an international inspection company nominated by Qatar Petroleum.
