Arselormittal Krivoy Rog increased steel production by 14%

In January-November 2012, the volume of production steel on Arselormital Krivoy Rog, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the steel giant Arcelormitta, amounted to 5 million 869 thousand tons, increasing by 13.8% compared to the same period last year.

The growth of production for eleven months of 2012 - metal rolling products amounted to 14.3% of 5 million 109 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

The production of cast iron on Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 16% by last year, reaching 5 million 123 thousand tons.

In November alone, the production of steel on Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih rose by 5.8% to 562 thousand 500 tons, the production of the metal rolling increased by 15.7% to 498 thousand 700 tons and the melting of cast iron added another 585 thousand 100 tons.

Recall that Arselormital Krivoy Row warned his workers about the upcoming masses of dismissal in 2013 in connection with the heavy position in the steel market.
