Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant in 2013 will put new equipment into operation

The Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (Chermk) is working on introducing a new roller-clipping machine into the production of a new roller. New equipment will provide shipbuilding and bridge -building production with thick -sized rental of increased strength. The received rental will meet all the requirements of world standards.

The roller-clipping machine was designed and manufactured by the Novocamatorsky Engineering Plant specifically for Chermk. The machine will be installed instead of old equipment on the leaf -rolling area of ​​thermal furnaces of workshop No. 1. The operation of the machine will be fully automated. In addition, the modernization of the pumping station is outlined to create the necessary production conditions. All installation-repairing will be performed by OJSC Domnaremont.

Starting from 2013, the Cherepovets metallurgical will begin the implementation of the project, which is estimated at 246 million rubles. Its implementation will allow not only to carry out increased strength, but also significantly increase the volume of the produced thick sheet. It is expected that growth will be 27 thousand tons per year. The completion of the project is scheduled for the second half of 2013.
