The Association of Swedish manufacturers became the results for November 2012. According to the latest data, in Sweden, the volume of steel production in November amounted to 344,300 tons, which indicates a slight decrease (0.3%) in annual calculus and by 3.75% compared with the previous month.
A decrease in steel production volumes in Sweden began in June 2011 and a similar trend has still been preserved. According to the results of 11 months of this year, Swedish production steel amounted to 4 million tons, which is 10.7% less than the corresponding period of the last year.
The export of finished rental, including workpieces, from Sweden for 9 months of 2012 amounted to 2.7 million tons, which is 9 % lower compared to this period last year. During this period of time, imports reached 2.67 million tons, which also indicates 8 % of the fall compared to last year's results.
