The fifth steelmaking shop of Dneprospetsstal celebrates its 55th anniversary

Today, the 55th anniversary is celebrated by the steel-making shop No. 5 of the Dneprspetsstal metallurgical plant. According to the press service of the enterprise, unique technologies of vacuum arc and electroslag remelting were mastered in this shop.

Today the jubilee workshop is mastering modern technologies, fruitfully working on the creation of a new type of metal products. A great contribution to the development of production is made by the teams of the adjuster and thermal separation section. Here, due to mechanical and heat treatment, the ingots acquire such unique properties as increased wear resistance, strength, and toughness.

The SPC-5 team looks confidently to the future. It employs specialists who have vast experience, have a thorough knowledge of technology, and can teach young people.
