Every pipeline system project starts with a planning phase. The pipeline, whether with liquids or gases, requires constant pressure control. It is necessary to track this parameter for a number of reasons. Each project is designed for a certain pressure, subject to which stable operation and delivery of the transmitting product is ensured. With an increase in the maximum threshold pressure value, at least a burst of pipes can occur and disable a number of devices tied in the pipeline chain. With a reduced pressure in the system, a number of devices can stop working and, as a result, provoke additional problems that can be expensive. In a situation with a missing pressure value, we can even see at home, when in a home gas stove the combustion power of gas burners differs significantly from the possible one. Of course, this is not fatal, the maximum that can be is that the gas boiler will not start. In order not to experience such inconveniences, it is required to control and respond in a timely manner to the pressure indicators in the system. To ensure pressure control, quite a few different devices are used, one of which is the most frequently used one is pressure gauge . In their design and technical capabilities, these control and measuring devices differ from each other. In areas where automated control and timely adjustment of pressure is needed, a special type is used - electrical contact pressure gauge . Significantly distinguishes it from other types - electrical contacts located under the dial. With the help of this contact group, the reading and transmission of pressure parameters in real time is carried out. Having received any pressure value, with the help of this pressure gauge, voltage is transmitted by electrical impulses to the converting device, which issues commands to the executing devices to make the necessary adjustments to the pressure in the pipeline. Automation of technological processes in production is carried out in this not cunning way, excluding the human factor, if not completely, then at least partially. An electrical contact pressure gauge is sometimes called a signaling pressure gauge . Signaling because, as described above, this type of pressure gauge reacts to deviations from the set value, signaling to the actuators to change the position of the shut-off valves to positive or negative.
