If after the evening, with artificial lightening, there appears to be a burning sensation in the eyes, the reason is often not in the eye. The most common fault is the incorrect selection of LED lamps. The brightness, color of light and the brightness of the driver are very noticeable. The good news is that the problem is easy to solve once you understand the basic language.
Why do your eyes turn on the LED light
LEDs themselves are not harmful. Discomfort occurs through darkness, incorrect color temperature or extreme brightness. The eye gradually softens, as if we are not marking anyone. Voltage and current appear.
Cheap lamps often have a weak driver. Through it the light pulses. The minimum amount of time it calls first when the robot is in trouble.
Color temperature and flow to the view
The color of light is measured in kelvins. Which parameter should be kept to the extent that it is comfortable for your eyes.
Warmly light 2700–3000 K
This lighting is as similar as possible to a roasting lamp. It’s soft and calm. Suitable for bedroom, living room, repair area. The eyes practically do not strain.

Neutral light 4000 K
This is a universal option for home and work. The light is not too hot and not blue. Good for kitchen, office, bathroom. The eyes are much less tired in cold light.
Cold light 5000–6500 K
This lightly advances the concentration, but also quickly overpowers it. Not suitable for casual living in living rooms. This is best suited for garages, warehouses or short-term work.

The brightness is important, it is not worth it
Whoever kindly picks up the lamp “the brighter it is, the more beautiful it is.” In fact, the supernatural light flow makes the eyes gradually adapt. For a room, 100–150 lumens per square meter is sufficient. For the work area, a little more, but without fanaticism.
Forever marvel at the lumen, and not at the vati. This is a real show of brightness.
Measurement and pulsation factor
A bright LED lamp may not last long. In cheap models, the pulsation can be over 20 watts. The eye cannot see it, but the brain reacts.
For the home it is necessary to use lamps with a pulsation coefficient of up to 5 watts. For robots at the computer it’s even lower.
Color transfer index
CRI shows how natural objects look. For residential use, it is recommended to use lamps with a CRI of no lower than 80. Better than 90 and higher. The eyes are less strained, because the brain is not “domalian” in color.
