The power tactics of US President Donald Trump against American trading partners seemed to bring some fruits on Monday after reports that the European Union is ready to pay 10 percent more duties for many of its export goods after the next decrease from Canada on Sunday.
However, considering a 10 percent increase, a block of 27 EU members reportedly wanted to receive from the United States an obligation to reduce tariffs, in exchange affecting pharmaceuticals, alcohol, semiconductors and commercial aircraft.
Brussels also pushes Washington to the effective weakening of US industry tariffs in the amount of 25%
import duties for cars and auto parts and 50% for steel and aluminum.
The EU gradually departs from US trade with Canada against the backdrop of Trump's power tactics
