Speaking today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov said that the government is developing a kind of business plan for increasing the volume of domestic production and the development of the domestic market. Being under pressure from adverse conditions that have developed in foreign markets, Ukraine has the opportunity to achieve GDP growth by 3-4%. This was reported by the official website of the Government of Ukraine.
“I think that despite all the unfavorable world economic conditions, Ukraine can reach GDP growth at 3-4% in 2013 with inflation of about 3%. And in 2014, go to higher, high -quality pace of development, ”said Nikolai Azarov.
At the Cabinet meeting, a "Program for activating the development of the economy for 2013 - 2014" was presented. These documents provide for the replacement of imports of domestic production, export increase and the achievement of a positive balance of the country's trade balance.
“It is precisely the purpose of the government program: to give maximum dynamics to the existing priority industries, and especially those that have great growth potential, get resources and put them in a radically new economy,” said Nikolai Azarov.
The Prime Minister said that to achieve this goal, state support mechanisms such as direct budget investments, state orders for products of Ukrainian enterprises, public-private investment partnerships, tax and customs benefits, reducing loans for the real sector of the economy and the provision of state guarantees for priority projects will be used.
As an example, Nikolai Azarov cited the fact that right tomorrow the Kerch shipbuilding plant was launched by two new ships, which were built by order of foreign firms. “There is a demand for the work of our shipbuilders in the world, and it is growing,” said Nikolai Azarov. - We responded to this by creating serious incentives for the industry that begin to work this year. We will find similar "developmental crystals" in other areas. "
During the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the government in good faith has carried out conscientiously for two years, the tasks set by President Viktor Yanukovych. “But today a new stage has come. Even more complex and more intense. We can say that what we could do immediately - we did, but now we need to do something more difficult than making simple decisions, therefore, a constant discussion of the same problems, without making fundamental decisions, takes the country's prospects, ”he emphasized.
“We need to find non -standard solutions and optimize the standard of living in the course of the uncompromising implementation of reforms for the development of the country,” explained
The economy of Ukraine in 2013 will grow by 3 - 4% - Nikolai Azarov
