One of the largest metallurgical plants in Ukraine is the Azovstal plant, successfully passed all tests for compliance with the ISO 50001: 2011 energy management system. This was announced by the press center of the enterprise.
Azovstal conducted the certification audit of the Metallurgical Plant by the Tüv Süd Ukraine International Certification Company, whose experts confirmed the high level of energy management and decided to provide the ISO 50001: 2011 International Certificate to the Communist Party.
“Obtaining a certificate of ISO 50001: 2011 automatically takes us to a new level of interaction with clients. This is very important in the current conditions when we need to fight for each buyer. In addition to the fact that the implemented standard of energy management will bring a direct economic effect in the form of a decrease in the cost of our products, it will also increase the international image of the Metinvest group and the Azovstal plant. The energy management system is included in priorities when concluding agreements with potential consumers of our products, so for us to receive ISO 50001: 2011 is prestige and strengthening the positions in the metal market, ”the general director of PJSC Azovstal PJSC Enver Tskitishvili commented on this event.
The press center of PJSC MK Azovstal emphasizes that the metallurgical plant became the first enterprise in Ukraine to begin the introduction of a new energy management standard. Azovstal became the first metallurgical plant in the country to receive a certificate of ISO 50001: 2011 for the energy management system of the enterprise.
