According to data published by the Japanese Association of Ship Exporters (JSEA), Japanese new orders for export of vessels in August this year decreased by 5.8 percent of the tonnage compared to the previous month, decreasing to 12 vessels, including general cargo vessels, eight carriers and one tanker, compared to seven courts registered in the courts registered in July, for the total amount of 371,580 gross-tonnnn.
In the first eight months of this year, Japanese shipbuilders received new export orders for 113 vessels totaling 5.79 million gross-tonn, which is 35.6 percent less in annual calculus. Exports, for the total amount of 675 542 gross-ton, compared with 22 vessels totaling 1.12 million gross-ton, registered in July.
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, Japan put 132 vessels per export, by a total of 5.87 million gross-ton, increasing by 5.2 percent in the annual announcement calculus.
