Baosteel introduces a VSS supply system for supplies

VSS is a flexible communication system between the largest Chinese Stellaville Corporation Baosteel and its consumers, especially in the automotive industry. The introduction of this peculiar “nervous system” of response to requests from buyers of metal rolling allowed in 2012 to reduce the number of working funds of the reserves for the creation of reserves in the Nanjing Changan Ford Mazda and reduce the average time of the stock replenishment cycle from 60 to 45 days. This was reported in Baosteel.

This year, Baosteel plans to introduce VSS to other enterprises of the China AutoProm, as well as to spread the effect of its “nervous system” to the largest manufacturers of household appliances. The managers of the Chinese metallurgical giant plan to create a joint system with customers of supply management, operating in digital mode throughout the chain: from steel production, rolling of metal rolling to the final consumer.

Today, the VSS system received 8 patents and has passed certification on access to the Shanghai Laboratory of Computer Software Testing Laboratory. The widespread introduction of the “nervous system” of Baosteel will help reduce the number of working capital sent by various industry enterprises in China to purchase a metal rolling by 70% and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the companies of VSS participants. “This advanced system will further reduce the costs of our customers for the purchase and creation of metal rolling stocks,” say Baosteel.
