Metinvest investments in the mining division in 2012 amounted to more than 2 billion 600 million UAH. This was reported by the press center of the group Metinvest.
As indicated in the message, the money was spent by the managers of the enterprise on the purchase of mining equipment and on the implementation of capital construction projects as part of a long -term investment program:
- Construction of a cyclic and main technology and overhaul of the firing machine on the northern GOK,
- Project to optimize the pumping of enrichment waste on Ingulent GOK,
- Development of iron -containing sands on the tailing storage 1 Central GOK,
- Construction of a cyclic and flow technological line in the Komsomol mines,
- Implementation of the system of integrated safety of production processes and modernization of the aerogas control system at the Sukhodolskaya-Eastern Association "Krasnodonugol"
In 2012, more than 600 million UAH was invested in the acquisition of new mining in 2012. For this money, 17 heavy dump trucks, 2 drilling machines, 4 excavators, 4 bulldozers, electric locomotive and 12 dumps for Kryvyi Rihi mining enterprises - Ingoletsky, Northern and Central Gocks were bought. Also, Metinvest acquired 10 combines, 18 conveyors, several self -propelled wagons and breeding vehicles for the Krasnodonugol production association.
“The systemic implementation of the long -term investment program of Metinvest allows us to increase the competitiveness of mining enterprises. Thus, we reduce the cost of products simultaneously with a decrease in environmental impact, increasing the comfort and safety of labor of our workers, ”said Nikolai Ishchenko, director of the Mining Division of the Metinvest Division.
1 SARE - a complex of special structures and equipment designed for storage or burial of radioactive, toxic and other dumpy waste of minerals called tails. At mining and processing plants (GOK), a concentrate is obtained from the incoming minced ore, and the processing waste is moved to the tailing storage.
