Posco is looking at the future with optimism

In the context of a decrease in demand for steel, the increase in the price of raw materials and other adverse factors, the steel company was in a difficult situation. In this regard, the past few years, Posco has been forced to carry out a wide range of economic measures. The company sold 46 of 70 small business units, conducted a structural reorganization aimed at creating close interaction between branches.

An important component of the Posco economic policy has become market capitalization, which at the moment reached $ 29,900 million, ahead of Arcelormittal, Nippon Steel and Sumitomo and JFE Steel. Posco is capable of producing 40 million tons of steel products per year, which is slightly less than that of direct competitors. However, representatives of the company claims that the competitiveness and profitability of their products is higher than that of larger manufacturers.

In the future, Posco plans to increase its profit due to the high added value from the production of more differentiated, high -quality steel. In addition, the company has serious achievements in terms of introducing new technologies that reduce the cost of the production process.
