The California company SUNEDISON, the world leader in the development and supply of equipment for the use of solar energy, announced on Thursday the signing of the contract with the Chilean metallurgical and mining group CAP SA to build the world's largest photoelectric station. The design capacity of the new power station is estimated at the level of 100 MW. As experts note, starting devices of a new generation will be applied for the first time. Construction will begin in the Chilean desert of the attack this spring. It is assumed that the power plant will provide 15% of the entire needs of the CAP SA group in electricity.
