In January 2013, 94 thousand tons of steel pipes were produced at Ukrainian trumpets, which is 47% less than in January 2011. This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The Koksochemical Enterprises of Ukraine reduced the production of products compared to January 7% - to 1 million 525 thousand tons.
In addition, in January 2013, mining enterprises of Ukraine reduced the production of iron ore concentrate compared to January 2011 by 1% to 5 million 581 thousand tons. The production of pellets decreased by 15% - to 1 million 645 thousand tons.
Meanwhile, in January 2013, Ukrainian metallurgical plants increased the production of steel compared to the same period last year by 0.9% - up to 2 million 845 thousand tons, cast iron - by 1% - up to 2 million 497 thousand tons.
Moreover, if we compare the production indicators of Ukrainian metallurgy in December 2012, the smelting of steel increased by 10.9%.
