Arselormittal Kryvyi Rih (former Krivorozhstal) in January 2013 manufactured 456 thousand 900 tons of metal rolling, which is 4.8% less than in January 2011. This is stated in the message of the missile plant.
The production of steel in January 2013 fell by 1.7% and amounted to 539 thousand 800 tons, cast iron smelting decreased by 1.2% to 472 thousand 700 tons, all compared to the same period last year.
As we have already reported, in 2012, Arselormital Kryvyi Rih produced 5 million 592 thousand 100 tons of metal rolling, which is 13.3% more than in 2011. Also in 2012, Metallurgkey Plant Lakshmi Mittal increased production of steel by 12.6% - up to 6 million 419 thousand 300 tons and cast iron by 14.6% - up to 5 million 609 thousand 800 tons, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
