The Finnish company producing mining and metallurgical equipment, Qutotec, published its financial results for the fourth quarter and full 2012.
According to financial results, in the fourth quarter of last year, the operating profit of QUTOTEC increased to 74,900 thousand euros, and the revenue from the sale of products amounted to 64,9800 thousand euros, which is 31% more compared to the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, the volume of orders of the company in monetary calculus amounted to 471200 thousand euros in October-December, increasing in the annual calculus by 44%.
For the whole of 2012, QUTOTEC registered operating profit in the amount of 184,300 euros, which is 64% higher than the previous year. The volume of company sales over the specified period increased by 50% in annual calculus to 2080,000 thousand euros, while the volume of orders increased by 4% compared to 2011.
Regarding the prospects of the market for 2013, QUTOTEC plans to further increase the volume of orders and sales in the region of 2.1-2.3 billion euros.
