Ukraine introduced the possibility of duty -free supply of steel pipes to the territory of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in the first half of 2013 in the amount of 171 thousand tons, against 264 thousand tons in the first half of 2012. This is stated in a joint protocol on amendments and additions to an agreement on the regulation of the supply of certain types of steel pipes originating from Ukraine, in Russia, Belarusian and Kazakhstan, which was posted yesterday on the official Internet portal of legal information of the Russian Federation.
According to the document approved on December 31, 2012, Ukrainian trumpets can be sold without paying customs duties from January 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013 in Russia 120 thousand tons of steel pipes, in Belarus - 35 thousand tons and in Kazakhstan - 16 thousand tons.
As previously reported, in 2012, a quota for a duty -free supply of pipes to Russia amounted to 300 thousand tons, and 500 thousand tons on the territory of the Customs Union.
