Import of metal rolling in the United States in 2012 increased by another 17%

In 2012, the United States of America imported about 33 million tons of metal rolling, which is 17% more than in 2011. Including the import of semi -finished products increased by 15% - to 7 million 650 thousand tons.

Almost all counterparties of American consumers, except for Ukraine, which reduced exports in the United States, one and a half times to 260 thousand tons and Australia ( - 520 thousand tons) increased the supply of metal products to this country.

So Russian metallurgists sold metal rolling in the United States in 2012 by 1 million tons more than in 2011; The European Union countries increased shipments by 1 million 200 thousand tons; Brazil additionally imported 800 thousand tons in the United States; Türkiye added 600 thousand tons and Japanese metallurgists increased the supply of metal products in 2012 to the United States by 590 thousand tons.

The three largest exporters of the metal rolling in the United States in 2012 are as follows:
