Metallurgical enterprises of the Southern Urals are located in the field of interests of Iranian entrepreneurs

In February 2013, Chelyabinsk visited the Iranian delegation of representatives of industrial and agrarian enterprises. The delegation was headed by the secretary of the Iranian embassy Zabyholl Narii. The previous visit of Iranian entrepreneurs took place in November 2012, and this indicates the stability of the prevailing partnerships.

As part of a business visit to Chelyabinsk, Iranians met with the vice-governor and the head of the South Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited the zinc factory. During a meeting with Iranian businessmen, agreements were reached on work on joint projects and opening a permanent trading representative office in Chelyabinsk. The Iranians, once again, emphasized the growing interest in the products the Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant , the South Ural reinforcement plant, the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant.

Over the past years, Iran has become one of the most important foreign economic partners for the Chelyabinsk region. In 2012, the export of the Southern Urals to this country in monetary terms reached 27,4200 thousand dollars. And Iran in the Chelyabinsk region put agricultural products worth more than 450 thousand dollars. Both parties consider the prevailing business and economic relations to be promising.
