Russian metallurgical enterprises increased the export of metal rolling in 2012 by 11%

In 2012, the amount of metal rolling exported by Russian metallurgists exceeded 39 million 24 thousand tons, which is 10.4% more than in 2011. This was informed by the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation.

Export revenue, settled in the pockets of Russian metallurgical magnates, amounted to more than 22 billion 572 million dollars, which is also 2.7% more than in 2011.

Most of all, deliveries to the markets of neighboring countries have increased - the volumes of export of metal distribution to the CIS countries in 2012 doubled - up to 5 million 112 thousand tons, which in monetary terms corresponds to 3 billion 880 million dollars. About 34 million tons were shipped to the "Far" abroad, for a total of 18 billion 692 million dollars. It’s not difficult to count, the average price for the Russian metal supply for neighbors was at 760 dollars/ton, while the metal rolling of the Russian Federation left the Russian Federation for an average of $ 550/ton.

Meanwhile, in 2012, 6 million 406 thousand tons of metal rolling were imported into the territory of the Russian Federation, which in turn is 11% more than in 2011. Russian buyers had to spend about $ 6 billion 261 million on a foreign metal product, which indicates the average price of a metal rolling of $ 950.

The introduction of new capacities for the production of steel pipes in Russia led to a reduction in the import of this metal product by half - to 809 thousand 400 tons for a total of 1 billion 437 million dollars. Including from the countries of the far abroad, 262 thousand 700 tons were imported in the amount of 780 million 300 thousand dollars, and from the CIS countries - 546 thousand tons for 656 million 400 thousand dollars.
