At the end of last year, Ukrainian metallurgical plants reduced the export of steel pipes by 35% - to 39 thousand 780 tons in December, against 75 thousand 800 tons in November 2012. This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Including seamless pipes, 35 thousand 310 tons were shipped outside the country ( -41.6% of November), a large diameter of 18 thousand 120 tons (-23.9%), other welded and profile pipes of 370 tons (-28.5%).
Investments from the export of steel pipe in December 2012 amounted to 103 million 360 thousand dollars, which is 25.5% less than in November 2012 (138 million 730 thousand dollars).
If we take annual dynamics, then in December 2012, Ukrainian trumpets exported 39.8% of steel pipes less than in December 2011.
In general, for 2012, the export of steel pipe from Ukraine amounted to 1 million 543 thousand 370 tons, which is 6% less than in 2011. The revenue from the sale of pipes to foreign counterparties reached 1 billion 874 million dollars in 2012.
