In January 2013, 248 thousand 600 tons of metal rolling were manufactured at the Enakievsky Metallurgical Plant (EMZ) of the Metinvest group, which is 5% more than in January 2012.
The production of steel in January 2013 on the EMZ fell by 1% - to 245 thousand tons, in the smelting of cast iron increased by 1.3% - to 217 thousand 800 tons, the enterprise reports.
Recall that throughout 2012, the EMZ increased the production of metal rolling by 4.3% to 2 million 670 thousand tons, the production of steel increased by 2.3% to 2 million 730 thousand tons, and the melting of cast iron increased by 5.2% to 2 million 465 thousand tons.
