In 2012, the Golders of Russia produced a total of 226 tons of pure gold, which is 7.2% more than in 2011. This was told by the chairman of the Union of Golden Professors of Russia Sergey Kashuba.
In total, in 2012, 200 tons of gold were obtained from the subsoil of the Russian Federation, another 17.4 tons were simultaneously produced and 8.5 tons of precious metal were obtained by secondary processing.
Russia intends to increase the volume of gold production by 4-5% annually, Sergey Kashuba emphasized, and in 2015 it will take an honorable 3rd place among world manufacturers of banking metal.
Gold -industrialists of Russia will consolidate their efforts and, possibly, will create associations with large foreign companies. Today, six gold mining companies in the Russian Federation accounts for half the general production of gold and the tendency to enlargement will continue, says the chairman of the Union of Golden Communists of Russia.
Since recently the Russian government has stopped finance the geological exploration of new scatter deposits, the share of land gold production in the total amount to decrease to 25%, while the production of ore gold will increase to 75%.
In the very near future, the Government of the Russian Federation, having united with a private firm, will begin the industrial development of the Sukhoi Log gold codes, Sergey Kashuba added.
