In 2012, the foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation reached 873 billion $ 200 million, which is 1.8% more than in 2011. This is stated in the report of the Customs Service of Russia.
Despite a decrease in the share of the value of metals and products from them in the total structure of Russian exports to 8.3% versus 9.1% in 2011, the physical volume of supplies of this group of goods increased by 3%.
The leader in the growth of Russian exports of metals was copper with a result of +35%, nickel was sold by 12% and an aluminum of 3.5% more than in 2011.
The physical volumes of export of ferrous metals and products from them increased by 2.7%, including: semi -finished products made of iron and unleasified steel - by 16.7%, ferroalloy - by 15.4%.
The share of the cost of metals and products from them in the total cost of Russian exports to the CIS countries in 2012 amounted to 9.3% compared with 9.9% in 2011. Physical volumes of ferrous metals exports decreased by 14%. At the same time, the shipment of flat rental to the CIS countries increased by 21.3%.
