Ukrainian metallurgists will increase the production of metal rolling in March 2013 by 11%

In March 2013, Ukrainian metallurgical companies intend to return the volumes of metal rolling in the current month. This was reported by the Association of Metallurgparp.

In total, it is planned to produce about 2 million 550 thousand tons of finished metal products instead of 2 million 300 thousand tons predicted in February. The production of steel will also be increased by 11% - to 2 million 800 thousand tons, cast iron smelting in March will reach 2 million 540 thousand tons, which is 10% more than the expected result for February 2013.

To ensure the declared production volumes in March, Ukrainian metallurgists must be purchased 580 thousand tons of aggloruda, 1 million 650 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate, 525 thousand tons of agglomerate, 755 thousand tons of pellets, limestone, 1 million 270 thousand tons of metallurgical coke and about 400 thousand tons of tons scrap metal.

According to the Association of Ukrrudprom, the applications of metallurgists for limestone and iron ore raw materials are fully provided.

Metallurgical companies plan to import 60 thousand tons of aggloruda, 200 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate and 10 thousand tons of pellets.

According to the Ukrkox association, the needs of the Ukrainian metaco -plants in Koks for March are fully provided.

The supply of own coal in March 2013 is expected at 1 million 270 thousand tons. Additionally, you will have to import about 750 thousand tons of coking coal.
