Yesterday, February 14, 2013, an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of PJSC Mariupol Metallurgical Plant named after Ilyich on which it was urgently decided to terminate the authority of members of the Supervisory Board and approved the new composition of the Supervisory Board of the Metallurgical Plant of the Metinvest group. This was reported by the press service of the Ilyich MMK.
The chairman of the Supervisory Board, Yuri Chantukov, secretary of the Supervisory Board, Alexander Bilyk and members of the Supervisory Board: Tatyana Lagunova, Vasily Gonchar, Marina Gron,, Alexander Pogozhev, Rostislav Shurma, were recalculated from his posts.
Instead of terminating authority, from February 15, 2013, a limited liability Company Metinvest B.V. (Private limited liability Company Metinvest B.V. (Netherlands)) for a period of three years.
Changes in the governing bodies of the ILICH and Ilyich-Stali MMK are due to optimization of the corporate governance of the Metinvest group and bringing the management processes to unified standards, the press center of the Metinvest group is emphasized.
Earlier, during 2012, similar decisions on changes in the supervisory board were adopted by shareholders of a number of other enterprises included in the group.
