The activation of the Ukrainian economy will cost the country's budget in 30 billion hryvnias

The amount of funds that will need to be allocated for the implementation of the state program for activating the development of the Ukrainian economy for 2013-2014 will amount to at least 30 billion hryvnias. This was told by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Igor Prasolov on the air of the Ukraine television channel.

“Today, at a meeting of the working group, the amount of about 29-30 billion hryvnias is discussed. This is only with regard to state support. This does not include private investments, as well as investments, let’s say, some other structures,” Igor Prasolov said in an interview.

According to the minister, the Ukrainian government is determined to implement all the main provisions of this program: “We will implement this program ... The richer our people, each person, the more demand in the country will be, the faster the economy will develop. Because in a poor country it is impossible to make any economic breakthroughs, ”the minister emphasized.

Answering the question about the main areas of the program of activation of the economy developed by the authorities of Ukraine, Mr. Prasolov in particular said:

“The first is, of course, an increase in energy efficiency and a decrease in energy intensity. The second task that is set is the development of domestic production, since there are many products, there are many goods that we could produce, we import. One of the directions is also the creation of conditions for the coming to us of very high -tech industries. ”

As we have already reported, in January of this year, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych at a meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms said that the national plan of action to improve the socio-economic situation in the country for 2013 will be considered at an expanded meeting of the government in February this year together with the program of the Cabinet of Ministers. It is planned to include unfulfilled points of the 2012 plan in this plan.

Later, Viktor Yanukovych, at a meeting with the heads of antimonopoly departments of foreign states, said that reforms began in Ukraine about three years ago, and therefore she managed to stabilize the economic situation, overcome the budget deficit, which was in early 2010, and ensure the growth of the economy every year.

Ukraine in international ratings on the favorable conditions for doing business and the prospects for the development of the economy usually occupies places at the end of the list - among the countries of Africa and Asia. At the same time, it is inferior to most post -Soviet republics.
