The ANSTEEL metallurgical group announced that January 2013 at its plant in the province of liaopnin was melted 1 million 290 thousand tons of steel, which is 16.5% more than in January last year.
The production of metal rolling increased by 20.3% to 1 million 210 thousand tons, and cast iron smelting increased by 18.6% to 1 million 330 thousand tons (both indicators compared with January 2012).
