The South Korean steel giant - Posco plans to create a joint venture with the involvement of two Japanese enterprises in the Prefecture of the MIE for the construction of a plant for the production of high -quality steel pipes. This was reported by the Japanese television company NHK.
PoSCO circuits conceived by managers POSCO will be able to produce about 10 thousand tons of steel pipes for the automobile industry per year.
Trade of South Korean metal products in Japan is gaining momentum, as its price is competitive, the NHK report said. In 2012, the country imported more than three million tons of metal rolling from South Korea in the main construction purpose.
The production and sale of steel pipes will require much greater skill from Posco managers and their Japanese partners who hope to gain a foothold in this production sector in Japan, the television companies emphasize.
