In January 2013, Ukrainian metallurgical companies increased the production of metal rolling to 1 million 503 thousand tons, which is 5.2% more than in December 2012. This was reported in the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
However, in the annual calculus, compared with January 2012, last month, the production of metal rolling decreased by 7.9%.
The main growth was obtained in the production of hot -rolled sheets of ordinary steel grades ( +8.2% - 479 thousand tons), while the release of high -quality and alloyed brands lost about half of its volume (-45.6% - 129 thousand tons) compared to January 2012.
In addition, 266 thousand tons were manufactured, which is almost twice as much as in January and 13.9% more than in December 2012. Also in January 2013, 241 thousand tons were carried out, which is 5% higher than the January and 2.8% less than December 2012.
The production of steel increased by 2.8% compared to the previous month, however, it decreased by 10.4% compared to January 2012 and amounted to 1 million 310 thousand tons. Cast iron smelting in January to 2 million 498 thousand tons, which is 7% more than in December and 0.9% more than in January 2012.
The growth of production of semi -finished products loved by Ukrainian metallurgists increased in January 2013 in relation to December 2012 by 17.7% to 1 million 434 thousand tons.
Recall that in 2012, the production of metal rolling in Ukraine amounted to 18 million 457 thousand tons, which is 5.4% less than in 2011.
