Arabian Pipes to build OCTG coupling plant in Riyadh

According to information on the Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange, Saudi pipe manufacturer Arabian Pipes Co. has decided to establish an OCTG coupling plant at its existing facility located in Riyadh's second industrial zone, reinforcing its commitment to increasing its local presence and value-added production.

The planned plant will have an annual production capacity of up to 50,000 OCTG couplings, which will allow the company to maintain pipe supply contracts for oil and gas casing pipes, meet local market demand and expand export opportunities for pipe couplings.

According to the company, the project is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2026, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals, with a launch date estimated in the second quarter of 2027. The total estimated cost of the investment is 30 million Saudi riyals ($8 million), which will be financed from the company's own resources.
