In February, all of them were destined for Argentina and were shipped by ArcelorMittal (7,100 tons at a price of 1,508 US dollars per ton) and Usiminas (3,200 tons at a price of 1,174 US dollars per ton), both on FOB terms.
Imports came from Asia (67,600 tons, of which 64,500 tons were sold at a price of 580 US dollars per ton from China), and Italy (200 tons at a price of 1,697 dollars per ton), also on FOB terms.
Exports in March were low, as in February, without shipments to the United States, in contrast to January's 3,0900 tons.
The decrease in imports reflects a decrease in shipments from China, which was affected by anti-dumping duties imposed by the Brazilian authorities.
According to sources, such imports should be reduced over the next few months.
