According to preliminary data published by the World Association, WSA became the world production of cast iron in 38 member countries of this organization in January 2013 compared to December 2012 by 3% to 90 million tons, which is 5.85% more than in January 2012.
The largest manufacturer of cast iron in the world is China with 52 million 300 thousand tons, increasing its smelting by 9.4% compared to December 2012. This country accounts for more than 58% of world production of cast iron.
Recall that in 2012, the growth of world production of cast iron amounted to 1.7%, reaching a total of 1 billion 100 million tons.
