The Interdepartmental Commission of Ukraine on International Trade (ICIT) has opened a new anti-dumping investigation into the import of welded, non-galvanized steel pipes from Turkey, as announced on January 29 in the Official Gazette of Ukraine.
The investigation was launched following a statement by local steel producers Ilyich Steel, Zaporizhstal, DMZ Kominmet and Trubostal, alleging that the products in question were imported at dumped prices between 2021 and the fourth quarter of 2025. The petitioners stated that during this period the volume of imports increased by 348 percent and 692 percent compared to local consumption and production, respectively.
The products in question currently fall under codes 7306 30 49 90, 7306 30 77 90, 7306 30 80 90, 7306 30 12 00, 7306 61 92 00 and 7306 61 99 00.
In addition, the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Alexei Sobolev announced that anti-dumping measures on the import of steel rods from Belarus and Moldova will be extended for another five years.
