Production for the week ended January 31, 2026 decreased by 1.1 percent compared to the previous week ended January 24, 2026, when production was 1.778 million net tons and capacity utilization was 76.9 percent.
For the week ended January 31, 2025, production amounted to 1,700 million net tons, and capacity utilization was 76.3 percent. Production this week represents an increase of 3.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Adjusted production from the beginning of the year to January 31, 2026 amounted to 7.774 million net tons with a capacity utilization rate of 76.0 percent. This is 3.4 percent more than 7,518 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 76.3 percent.
