Indian NMDC Limited predicts an 8% increase in iron ore production in January 2026

Indian state-owned mining company NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 5.56 million tons in January 2026, an increase of 8.04% year-on-year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, February 3.

The company reported total sales of 4.79 million tons, an increase of 6.92% year-on-year.

In total, NMDC iron ore production in April-January 2025-26 fiscal year is 42.45 million tons, an increase of 18.34% year-on-year.

Total sales for this period amounted to 39.73 million tons, an increase of 9.69% year-on-year.
