The integrated CSP® -HSM line increases product productivity and flexibility
The SMS Group said that the official ceremony held on February 2 marked the start of production on the upgraded and expanded line at the JISCO Carbon Steel Jiayuguan plant. With the commissioning of the new line, JISCO increased its annual hot rolling capacity from 2 million tons to 4.5 million tons, and expanded its product portfolio with higher-value-added steel.
The manufacturer noted that it has provided full automation for the integrated line, enabling rapid switching between CSP® and conventional HSM production routes. This setup has supported rapid build-up and stable operational performance from the very beginning.
