According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in December last year, the volume of rebar exports from Turkey increased by 4.3 percent month-on-month and by 7.7 percent year-on-year to 383,071 metric tons. The value of these exports amounted to $207.76 million, which is 3.8 percent more month-on-month and 1.8 percent more year-on-year.
For the whole of 2025, rebar exports from Turkey amounted to 4.13 million tons, which is 20.6 percent more, and the value of these exports increased by 13.2 percent to 2.26 billion US dollars year-on-year.
Rebar exports from Turkey - over the past 12 months
In 2025, Turkey exported 699,962 tons of rebar to Yemen, which is 6.9 percent more than last year, while Yemen occupies a leading position in terms of rebar exports from Turkey, ahead of Romania. which received 309,932 tons, which is 48 percent more than during this period. Romania is followed by Albania with 234,803 tons, which is 8.2 percent more than last year.
