The development is located at the Stallinborough interchange next to the Scunthorpe site and covers an area of 227 acres. It will include eight industrial and logistics divisions designed to attract companies from sectors such as energy, mechanical engineering, manufacturing and port logistics.
Steel for forming the structural core of new objects
Steel is supplied through the customer's Billington Structures and will become the main structural foundation of the new buildings.
The proximity of the project to the Humber Estuary ports at Immingham and Grimsby is expected to support logistics activities and create hundreds of local jobs.
The construction of the blocks began in December 2025 and is scheduled to continue in early 2026. British Steel said the project highlights the importance of domestically produced structural steel to support the UK's industrial and infrastructural development.
