French pipe manufacturer Vallourec announced that it signed two contracts in February 2026 to supply 14,000 tons of OCTG products to Indonesia. These agreements are part of a broader series of five contracts recently awarded to various oil and gas operators in the region.
The total volume of these contracts is approximately 36,000 tons of premium pipes and connections, which will be used to support operations at about 140 wells in the region.
Vallurek said all pipes will be fully heat treated and threaded at PT Citra Tubindo, its subsidiary in Indonesia. This approach is expected to maximize local manufacturing capabilities, improve supply chain efficiency and provide high-value, premium solutions to operators, contributing to the country's industrial development.
