The Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EPDK) and the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) announced that prices for electricity and natural gas in Turkey have increased since April 4, 2026.
According to EPDK, electricity prices have increased by 25 percent for households, by 17.5 percent for the public and service sectors, and by 5.8 percent for industry and by 24.8 percent for agricultural activities due to increased costs of electricity production and distribution.
BOTAŞ said it increased natural gas prices for industrial users by an average of 18.61 percent and by 19.42 percent for power plants.
