Polish steel company Huta Częstochowa, a subsidiary of Polish coking coal exporter Węglokoks, has exceeded 500,000 tonnes of steel since restarting operations, a major milestone for a steel plant, according to media reports. The company steadily increased production volumes after the resumption of operations. The production growth was said to have been supported by the stable operation of the steel mill and steel mill.
The site has now produced more than half a million tons of steel, reflecting improved operational stability and higher utilization rates.
Management has indicated that maintaining continued production and restoring customer confidence remain key priorities.
The company is committed to achieving 300,000 tons of production by the end of the year and 500,000 tons in 2026 as previously reported SteelOrbis .
Focus on restoring market position
The steelmaker continues efforts to strengthen its market presence after a period of operational and financial difficulties in the past years.
Management emphasized that restoring long-term commercial relationships and expanding order volumes remain important goals for the plant.
Restoring production at the plant is considered important for both the domestic steel sector and the broader regional economy.
